Revisiting Childhood Memories
Pakistani actor and model Hira Umer recently shared the reason behind archiving her old pictures on Instagram during an appearance on ARY Digital’s morning show, Good Morning Pakistan.
Speaking to host Nida Yasir, Umer candidly explained that her decision to hide several posts was driven by embarrassment over her childhood and teenage pictures.
“I have so many such pictures that should be hidden away,” she revealed. “I’ve already archived a lot of them or changed the privacy settings of those posts.”
The Influence of Childhood Choices
Recalling her younger years, Hira revealed that her mother played a major role in her appearance growing up.
“In my childhood, my mother would dress me up,” she shared. “When I was in class 9th or 10th, I finally started choosing my own clothes and letting my hair grow longer.”
Hira humorously noted that she once sported a “mushroom haircut,” which often caused confusion among people who mistook her for a boy.
Personal Growth and Transformation
Reflecting on her journey, the Mere Humsafar actor added, “I think I have groomed myself a little over time.”
Today, Hira is known for her chic style and on-screen charisma, a sharp contrast to the humble beginnings she spoke about.
Rising Career in Pakistani Showbiz
On the professional front, Hira Umer was most recently seen in the hit drama serial Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet alongside Iqra Aziz and Hamza Sohail.
She has previously captivated audiences with notable performances in projects like Jaisay Aapki Marzi and Mere Humsafar, steadily building a strong portfolio in the entertainment industry.
