The heartthrob of millions, Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan was spotted performing Umrah in Makkah on Thursday. The My Name is Khan actor was in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for completing the shoot of his upcoming movie Dunki.
Khan was spotted in the Holy City wearing an inizar and rida. Soon his pictures went viral, and fans are appreciating him all over the world. He was wearing a face mask and was surrounded by security personnel.
Saud Hafiz, a Saudi journalist, while confirming the news tweeted, “Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan performed Umrah in Mecca today. May Allah SWT accept his Umrah, Ameen.”
A fan of SRK shared his video clip of performing Umrah and said, “A truly beautiful sight to see you in our Holy place, Shah Rukh. My heart is full.”
Another fan tweeted, “Not a single person creating controversy about him and everyone are wishing him with love. No doubt he is in every person’s heart.”
Another said, “Even I am feeling too emotional right now. May Allah keep him and his family very safe and protected.” Another proud fan wrote, “So happy to see him fulfilling his wish of visiting this holy city.”
After performing Umrah, Shah Rukh Khan also attended a film festival in Jeddah where he was draped in a black suit and was smiling for the cameras.
Later, SRK thanked the Saudi authorities for their warm welcome. He said, “There’s nothing more satisfying than completing a shooting schedule, as is Dunki in Saudi. Thank you for giving us such spectacular locations and warm hospitality. I want to thank Raju sir and the rest of the cast and crew. A very big Shukran to you all. God bless you.”
