Pakistani actor and filmmaker Saife Hassan has provided a major update on the highly anticipated Netflix series Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, revealing that the project has completed post-production and is now awaiting an official release date from the streaming platform.
Saife Hassan, who is also part of the series as an actor, explained that his role in front of the camera is relatively limited. His primary contribution to the project came behind the scenes, where he served as head of post-production.
Speaking about the drama, Saife said the series was completed some time ago and the team is currently waiting for Netflix to finalize its release schedule. Once the streaming platform confirms the date, the series will be ready for its global debut.
Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo has remained one of the most anticipated Pakistani entertainment projects since it was first announced, largely because of its ensemble cast featuring some of the country’s biggest television and film stars.
The series brings together Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Sanam Saeed, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Aamir, Iqra Aziz, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Maya Ali, Bilal Ashraf and Khushhal Khan.
The highly anticipated project is based on Farhat Ishtiaq’s bestselling Urdu novel of the same name. The story centers on Sikandar, a Harvard law student dealing with emotional trauma, and Liza, an artist who has also experienced difficult circumstances in her life.
Their paths cross in Italy, setting the stage for a story focused on love, emotional healing and self-discovery. The international setting is an important element of the adaptation, with the production filmed across Italy, the United Kingdom and Pakistan.
The series is being produced under Momina Duraid’s production banner and represents another major step for Pakistani entertainment on an international streaming platform.
Despite the strong anticipation surrounding the project, its release has taken longer than initially expected. The production previously went through an extended post-production phase, contributing to uncertainty surrounding its premiere.
Recent reports have pointed toward a possible late-2026 release, but Netflix has yet to announce an exact premiere date. Saife Hassan’s latest comments suggest that the production itself is now ready and that the remaining wait is largely dependent on Netflix’s release schedule.
The involvement of such a prominent cast has continued to generate interest among Pakistani drama fans, particularly because the series brings together actors who have already established strong followings locally and internationally.
Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s presence has also added to the anticipation, while the inclusion of Sanam Saeed, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Aamir, Iqra Aziz and other well-known performers has further increased expectations surrounding the adaptation.
With post-production now completed, attention is shifting toward Netflix’s official announcement. Fans will likely be watching closely for confirmation of the premiere date and further details about the global release.
For Pakistani viewers and international audiences interested in South Asian entertainment, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo could become one of the most significant Pakistani streaming releases of 2026 once it finally arrives on Netflix.
