John Abraham Parts Ways with Sajid Khan's Film: Confirmed Report

John Abraham, a popular Bollywood actor known for his high-octane action roles, is said to have changed his mind about his future film choices after the success of the record-breaking film Pathaan, in which he played the antagonist. Prior to this, John had been planning to work on a lineup of films that were a blend of action and comedy, a genre that he had previously enjoyed working on. However, the success of Pathaan seems to have caused him to reconsider his plans, leading him to exit some of his upcoming projects, including the Sajid Khan film 100%.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, John had been considering diversifying his lineup with comedy and masala entertainers. He had even signed on for 100% and was in advanced talks for Awara Pagal Deewana 2. However, the success of Pathaan has changed his mind, and he is no longer interested in doing a comedy film anytime soon. John is currently keen on pursuing his image as an action star and has decided to focus on action films instead.

The report states that John has backed out of the Sajid Khan film 100%, and discussions about Awara Pagal Deewana 2 have been put on hold while the makers explore other options. While John has decided to push these projects aside, he has not yet finalized any of his upcoming action films. It is also reported that he is in talks with Yash Raj Films for a spinoff film on his Pathaan character Jim, but there has been no official announcement about this.

In terms of his upcoming projects, John will next be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s Tehran, which is expected to co-star Manushi Chhillar. He is also expected to collaborate with T-Series and Shivam Nair for a geo-political thriller. With his focus now firmly on action films, it remains to be seen what other projects John will sign up for in the coming months.
