King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has reportedly pulled the plug on a film that would have seen him sharing the screen with his daughter, Suhana Khan. The project, titled “King,” was shelved indefinitely after facing criticism surrounding Suhana’s debut film, “The Archies.”
Insider sources claim Khan doesn’t want Suhana to be compared to her co-stars, especially after the mixed reception of “The Archies.” The film, a modern adaptation of Archie Comics, drew criticism for its nepotism-heavy casting and lackluster performances.
Instead of “King,” Khan is focusing on other projects like “Pathaan,” “Jawan,” and “Dunki.” He is also rumored to be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film “Inshallah,” alongside Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan.
This news comes as a disappointment to fans who were eagerly awaiting the father-daughter duo’s on-screen debut. However, it seems Khan wants Suhana to carve her path in the industry, away from his shadow.
Will Suhana Khan find a project that helps her break free from comparisons and establish her own identity as an actress? Only time will tell.
