A Lahore sessions court has granted interim pre-arrest bail to Pakistani YouTuber and TikToker Ali Hyderabadi in a case involving allegations of domestic violence against his wife. The court has directed him to cooperate with police during the ongoing investigation.
An additional sessions judge in Lahore approved Ali Hyderabadi’s bail petition on Tuesday and ordered authorities not to arrest him until July 14, when the matter will be taken up for the next hearing.
Former Lahore Bar Association president Rana Intizar appeared before the court on behalf of Ali Hyderabadi. During the hearing, he argued that his client was willing to join the police investigation but feared arrest before presenting his position before investigators.
The lawyer requested interim relief from the court, stating that bail would allow Ali Hyderabadi to cooperate with the investigation process. After hearing the arguments, the court accepted the plea and instructed him to participate in the inquiry.
The case was registered at Sundar Police Station in Lahore following allegations that Ali Hyderabadi subjected his wife to physical abuse. Police have started investigating the accusations and are gathering relevant information as part of the legal process.
The controversy gained widespread attention after allegations and videos involving the couple circulated on social media platforms. Ali Hyderabadi’s former wife, Zainab Ali, shared a video in which she made serious claims regarding her experiences during and after the relationship.
In her statement, Zainab Ali alleged that she faced threats and difficult circumstances during the marriage. She also appealed to authorities for protection and legal action, following which the matter attracted significant public attention.
Ali Hyderabadi and Zainab Ali had previously been known on social media for sharing content that showed moments from their married life. Their relationship had gained popularity among followers before disputes between the couple became public.
A video related to their divorce also went viral on social media, leading to discussions among users about the decision to record and share a private family matter online.
The court’s interim bail order does not determine the outcome of the case, as the allegations remain under investigation. Police will continue their inquiry, while further proceedings will take place after the next court hearing scheduled for July 14.
Authorities have emphasized that the matter will be decided according to the evidence collected during the investigation and the legal process.
