Sonya Hussyn, the spotlight on Pakistani Tv screens, is all set to rock in her upcoming films, Tich Button & another debut Daedal. Her on-air drama Tinkay Ka Sahara is also receiving critical acclaim from fans, critics, and fans.
In an interview with Hasan Choudary, she discussed her character in the forthcoming feature film Tich Button which has a stellar cast.
Talking about her role in Tich Button, Sonya said, “I mean, yes, I am in the film, but if you are not satisfied with your character, you don’t want to own that project. I don’t like my character in the movie. However, I’m getting a great public response. I had a great response to the song Main Nahi Boldi, which was really food. Everyone did their job perfectly, from actors to directors, and even the cast had injuries while performing challenging tasks. If I have personal issues, that doesn’t mean the film is not good. The film was made after the team’s sheer hard work.
She also said that she doesn’t know if her work was chopped in the film, but she was in the movie and worked, and now the dispute is near its settlement.
Previously there was gossip all over the internet that Sonya Hussyn was going against the movie producer for not paying her the decided amount. She had claimed that her contract for Tich Button had been breached, and she hadn’t been born the full stipulated amount.
Sonya appeared on the same show and was asked about her family, career, projects, Tich Button, and most importantly, the notice she sent to Urwa. “Payment was the main issue because I wasn’t seen at the Tich Button promotions. Everything was fine at some point but there comes a time when you’re not able to build chemistry with some people. I try to maintain distance wherever I can’t vibe along and there were some people in Tich Button that I didn’t vibe with,” revealed Sonya.
When asked about settlement, Sonya replied that the producers had approached her to sort out the matter, but she has chosen to distance herself from promotional events for the film. Though Sonya said she was “not satisfied” with her character in Tich Button, she was all praises for her costars. Along with that, the release date for Tich Button has been pushed forward to November 25.
