Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carrie-Anne Moss Shine in Netflix’s Fubar Season 2

In the newly released second season of Netflix’s hit action-comedy Fubar, screen legends Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carrie-Anne Moss bring an electric dynamic to the series, both in their performances and their off-screen camaraderie.

One of the standout moments in Season 2 is a tango sequence between Schwarzenegger’s character, Luke Brunner, and Moss’s Greta Nelson, a former East German spy. Speaking with Reuters, Schwarzenegger confessed it took him substantial effort to perfect the scene.

“We practiced a lot,” he said. “Carrie-Anne didn’t need as much practice as I did, but I really worked on it.” The effort paid off. On the day of filming, the crew initially mistook their performance for a rehearsal, unaware of how well-prepared the actors were.

Fubar, created by Nick Santora, follows CIA operative Luke Brunner and his daughter Emma, played by Monica Barbaro, as they juggle high-stakes missions and complex family dynamics. The ensemble cast includes Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Feimster, and Travis Van Winkle.

In Season 2, the tension escalates when Brunner’s ex-lover Greta resurfaces, sparking a mixture of rivalry and nostalgia. Moss, known globally for her role as Trinity in The Matrix, shared that her on-screen connection with Schwarzenegger translated into a real-life bond.

“Most of my scenes are with Arnold, and over time, we developed a really special friendship,” Moss said.

Adding a touch of humor, Schwarzenegger recounted how Moss brought essential oils to the set. “She would put this peppermint oil behind my ears, and suddenly everything felt right. It was like flipping a switch,” he said.

Their undeniable chemistry and playful energy have added new life to the Fubar series, which continues to climb viewership charts on Netflix globally.
