Hamza Habib Confirms Marriage to Actress Momina Iqbal During Court Appearance

Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal is now married to Hamza Habib, who confirmed the development while speaking to media outside the Lahore High Court during a recent appearance.

Hamza Habib stated that the couple had tied the knot two days earlier and emphasized that he is now the “legal husband” of Momina Iqbal. Addressing reporters, he said, “I am not her future husband, I am her husband now. Thank God we got married two days ago.”

The statement was made during proceedings at the Lahore High Court, where Justice Abir Gul heard Hamza Habib’s protective bail application. The court granted him protective bail and directed him to appear before the relevant court by June 1.

During the hearing, Momina Iqbal’s sister, Rimsha, was also present alongside Hamza Habib, adding further attention to the case proceedings.

Separately, police in Jhang have registered a case against Hamza Habib over allegations related to issuing threats to a person identified as Saqib Chadhar. However, Hamza Habib has strongly rejected the accusations, describing them as false and baseless.

Speaking to the media, he reiterated that Momina Iqbal is his legal wife and alleged that the case against him has been filed on political grounds. He also claimed that he was previously offered money to separate from the actress, an allegation that has not been independently verified.

Hamza Habib further defended his position in strong terms, stating, “Momina is my honour, she is my wife and my lioness,” while maintaining that the legal proceedings against him are motivated.

At this time, there has been no official response from Saqib Chadhar regarding the allegations mentioned in the case.

The situation has drawn public attention due to its connection with a known entertainment figure, while legal proceedings are expected to continue in the relevant courts in the coming days.
