Cruise also revealed some details about the film, which is titled Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. He said that the film will feature some of the most spectacular and dangerous stunts ever seen on screen, including a motorcycle jump off a cliff in Norway, a helicopter chase in Italy, and a train explosion in England. He said that he wanted to give the audience a thrilling and immersive experience that they would never forget.
Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Erik Jendresen. It is the first part of a two-film story arc that will conclude with Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two, which is scheduled to release in June 2024. The film stars Cruise as Ethan Hunt, an IMF agent who must track down a terrifying new weapon before it falls into the wrong hands. He is joined by his loyal team members Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), and Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), as well as new allies and enemies played by Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff, and Henry Czerny.
