Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia has firmly dismissed long-standing rumours linking her romantically with former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq, calling the speculation laughable and entirely untrue.
In a recent appearance on a celebrity talk show, the Baahubali star addressed the viral photo that reignited the gossip: an image of her standing beside Razzaq at a jewellery store event years ago.
“According to the internet, I was married to Abdul Razzaq,” she said, tongue-in-cheek. “Just kidding, Abdul Razzaq!”
Her lighthearted but pointed remarks left no ambiguity about the nature of their encounter. “We both were invited to a store opening—that’s all there is to it,” she clarified, brushing aside any suggestion of a personal connection.
She also quipped directly to Razzaq, “Excuse me sir, you have two or three kids,” highlighting the absurdity of the claims.
The rumour had gained traction on social media when users misinterpreted the photo, suggesting it was from an engagement or wedding. It resurfaced repeatedly over the years, despite no credible evidence.
This isn’t the first time Tamannaah’s name has been caught up in speculation. Years ago, she was briefly linked to Virat Kohli after appearing with him in a commercial. She later clarified they had met only once, during the shoot.
Meanwhile, her real-life romance with actor Vijay Varma ended quietly earlier this year, after drawing public attention in 2023 when the two were spotted celebrating New Year’s together. No official statements were issued, but sources confirmed their quiet breakup.
