Recently, the first schedule of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, was completed in India. The second schedule is currently being filmed in scenic locations in Scotland. The action entertainer is produced by Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. However, according to Hindustan Times, while filming an action scene, Akshay Kumar, who is known for performing his own stunts, was injured on the set.

An anonymous source stated, “Akshay was shooting for an action sequence with Tiger, and it was a particular stunt he was performing when this injury happened. He has braces on his knee right now.” Despite the injury, Akshay continues to shoot the rest of the scenes, including his close-ups, to avoid delays in wrapping up the Scotland schedule. The action portions have been temporarily suspended until Akshay’s knee has healed.

Jackky Bhagnani recently shared an explosive behind-the-scenes video of the shoot on his official Instagram page, showcasing guns, tanks, and explosions. He captioned it, “Guns…Tanks…Explosions…Kaboom. See you guys at the cinemas. #BMCM #Scotland.”

The makers of the film released an official statement, saying, “With Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Jackky is all set to raise the bar of action and adventure on the screens. Well-studded with two of the biggest action heroes of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, and a powerful antagonist Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film is one of the most awaited action entertainers of 2023. Moreover, the producer-actor has got one of the world’s best technical and action crews for the film.”

It’s worth noting that Pooja Entertainment had previously produced a film of the same name, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, in 1998. Directed by David Dhawan, it was a comedy film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.
